The Strict Boundaries of StockSentry
StockSentry operates on a principle of absolute minimum data collection. Because we do not act as your financial advisor, we structurally ensure we have no insight into your personal finances.
What We Collect (Only 2 Things):
- Your app ID: The numerical string required by the app API to route messages back to your chat.
- Your Inputted Tickers & Entry Prices: The data you actively send to the app via
/watchor/boughtcommands to trigger monitoring.
What We DO NOT Collect:
- We cannot see your brokerage account, login credentials, or transaction history.
- We do not know your real name, email address, physical address, or phone number.
- We do not know your portfolio size, income, net worth, or financial status.
Third-Party Subprocessors
To deliver the service, we interact with the following third parties. We only share the absolute minimum data required to execute their specific function.
- Stripe (Payment Processing) When you subscribe, you are redirected to Stripe. StockSentry does not store or process your credit card information. Stripe maintains your billing details.
- app (Messaging) All communication occurs over app's infrastructure. We are subject to app's privacy policy regarding message transit.
- Anthropic / Claude (AI Analysis) When an alert is generated, we send the technical financial data to Claude to write the plain-English summary. Your app ID is never sent to the AI. The AI only sees raw market data (e.g., "AAPL RSI is 25, write a summary").
Data Deletion
If you cancel your subscription and block the app on app, you can request a complete wipe of your tracked tickers and historical agent interactions by contacting support.
